Anthony Anderson, Field Deputy
Anthony serves as a field deputy for Councilmember Harris-Dawson and is responsible for addressing the constituents’ needs throughout the district. As part of the district office team, Anthony works closely with our seniors and veterans throughout the district.
Anthony is a life-long public servant and comes to the Eighth District with 37 years of government service, six of which he served in the US Air Force where he obtained the ranking of Sergeant. He also spent several years working for the Veterans Affairs Hospital and the United States Postal Service, where he built lasting relationships with South Los Angeles residents. He’s passionate about empowering the community and raising higher standards for the district.
Anthony is a baseball aficionado as he is the founder of the Allwood Fall Baseball League and a former high school baseball coach. He is a proud father of four children and grandfather to two grandchildren. He resides in Inglewood with his wife.
