Councilmember Harris-Dawson is leading the reinvestment in South Los Angeles neighborhoods and working to improve infrastructure and amenities, provide quality affordable housing and support local entrepreneurs.
- September 2019: The councilmember broke ground on the Pointe on Vermont a mixed-use affordable housing development for people who are experiencing or transitioning from homelessness, low income households, a recording studio and 2,000 square feet of ground floor commercial space.
- November 2019: Councilmember breaks ground on $4 Million reinvestment along Western avenue to support longstanding businesses and community assets along the corridor.
